What to know before your first ride

How dark will the lenses become?

Tint depth depends on outdoor UV intensity, temperature, weather, and environment. The lenses are designed to deepen in brighter UV, but no single darkness level can be guaranteed in every condition.

How quickly do the lenses change?

Transition speed varies with the same environmental factors. This page does not promise a fixed transition time.

Will they darken inside a car?

Often less strongly. Many vehicle windshields filter the UV light that activates photochromic lenses.

Can I use them for night riding?

They are designed to appear clearer when outdoor UV is low, but they are not a substitute for required bike lights, reflective equipment, or certified protective eyewear. Use conditions and local requirements to decide whether they are appropriate.
